Federalist 78 and Assignment

For this assignment, you will be reading Hamilton's Federalist 78 on the judicial branch of government. Use this reading to find important quotes within the document and comment on them. One of these comments must be a question. Refer to the example below. You need 5 quotes, which means 5 comments; your question is included in that number. You can also find the document in this post.

 Example:

Quote (include paragraph number)
Comment
“…the judiciary, from the nature of its function will always be the least dangerous to the political rights of the Constitution…”
Paragraph 4
Here, Hamilton is saying that based on what the judicial branch does, it is highly unlikely that it will ever go against the Constitution.
“…the independence of the judges may be an essential safeguard against the effects of occasional ill humor in the society.”
Paragraph 12
If the judges should answer to the people and the Constitution, how can they be independent and question society?
“…the judges ought to be governed by the latter rather than the former.”
Paragraph 9
The judiciary should answer to the people rather than the Congress and its laws.
