Cabinet Job Application

You will be writing a letter to the President to apply for a job in his or her cabinet.
These are the jobs you can apply for:

• Vice President
• Sec. of State
• Sec. of Treasury
• Sec. of Defense
• Sec. of Commerce and Labor
• Sec. of Health and Human Services
• Sec. of Transportation
• Sec. of Education

In your letter you need to tell the President four things

• the position you are applying for
• why you want the job (in detail)
• how you are qualified for the job
• what you plan to accomplish if chosen for the job

This letter must take up a whole sheet of paper. Be detailed. Be prepared for others to read your letter.
