Happy Spring Break!

If you took any part of the quiz last week, your grade has been posted.

Hours 2, 4, 6: You grades were posted late last week. Good job all!

Hours 1, 7: Your grades got posted...technically yesterday. If your grade is in the 20s-30s, it means you have not taken some part of the quiz, and you should also be able to see a "missing" symbol. Please come talk to me about making up whatever part you missed (for most of you *cough-7th hour-cough* it's the essay portion, which happened on Friday).

For this assignment, you will be reading Hamilton's Federalist 78 on the judicial branch of government. Use this reading to find important quotes within the document and comment on them. One of these comments must be a question. Refer to the example below. You need 5 quotes, which means 5 comments; your question is included in that number. You quiz over the legislature will begin on 11/29 (tomorrow). On this day, you will receive multiple choice/fill-in-the-blank/etc type of questions, and well as being able to review before the quiz. The following day will be reserved exclusively for short answer and essay questions.

I highly suggest you review using the attached packet. You should have had the opportunity to pick these up in class, but here they are again.

This is the second and last extra credit opportunity of the quarter.

When: December 12-13, 2012. This is a long movie and will take two days. The movie will not be shown twice. Film will start promptly at 3:50pm.
Details: If you wish to complete this assignment, you MUST (MUST MUST MUST MUST) print out this post, fill it out and bring it to me by DECEMBER 7--please note that you need a parent signature. You will not be admitted without a parent signature. There will be no exceptions. Forms will not be accepted after December 7.

The movie will, again, start at 3: 50pm. If you are late, the consequences as related to the assignment(s) are on you. You will not know the assignment(s) until you get to the classroom. Here is the form you need to print.
